Yehia Shahine has 11 years of experience in the dispute resolution practice with top tier local and international law firms in Egypt and France. Yehia is currently a Partner and spearheads the Arbitration Practice in Adsero - Ragy Soliman & Associates. Yehia's practice encompasses handling complex high profile litigation cases and commercial arbitration procedures related to telecommunications, civil, commercial, competition and sports laws. Yehia has been involved in large domestic and international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings covering a number of industry sectors and conducted under a variety of arbitration rules including the ICSID, ICC, CRCICA, CAS, DIAC, LCIA, GAFTA and UNCITRAL. Yehia holds Bachelors of Law from both Cairo and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne universities. He is also holder of a Master's degree in International & European Business Law, in addition to a Master’s degree in Business & Tax Law both from Paris I Panthéon -Sorbonne University. Yehia was admitted to the Cairo Bar Association in 2009.

Before joining Adsero, Mr. Shahine was as Senior Associate at the Dispute Resolution Department of at Baker & McKenzie, Cairo Office. During his tenure, he represented some of the firm's major clients in many arbitration proceedings, under a variety of arbitration rules in multi-descipline industries including sports, airlines, telecom, equipment manufacturing, agro-food, oil & gas to name a few.
Yehia acted as counsel in a large number of ad-hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings before ICC, ICSID, CRCICA, LCIA, DIAC, CAS, GAFTA and UNCITRAL. Yehia also served as Secretary of the Tribunal in a number of international arbitration proceedings.
